Chelan Riverwalk Park

 

For the season-ending Roger Newton Gold Cup, R/C Unlimiteds loves coming to picturesque Chelan in early October. In the river just off of Lake Chelan, the river provides a great setting for a magnificent race.

 

The pits are set along the riverwalk, making loading and unloading a bit difficult. But, the pits are all grass, and set several feet above the water, providing a great view of the racecourse. The engine noises bounce off the beautiful surrounding hillside, bringing plenty of fans to view the boats. The first turn has a viewing dock, making it a perfect place to take pictures!

 

RV camping is encouraged at the local RV parks, as opposed to staying on site.
