This boat first debuted in 1976 as the Miss Vernors. It underwent a variety of sponsorships in the late 1970s and early 1980s, before last running in 1986 as the Oh Boy! Oberto.

In 1978, Chip Hanauer drove the boat in six of the seven races. The boat had a best finish of second in two races, en route to a third place in national high points.
