R/C Unlimiteds 50th Anniversary Celebration

R/C Unlimiteds is proud to announce its 50th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Banquet!

​

The event will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum in Kent, WA.

​

R/C Unlimiteds would like to invite all current and past members of R/C Unlimiteds and their family members.

The event is also open to all radio controlled racers from our sister clubs throughout the region, and "full-sized" hydroplane racers, crew members, and fans. We'd love to have everyone who has had some connection to R/CU or hydroplanes to attend!

 

The event is FREE to attend and will feature a hosted pizza dinner provided by R/CU.

There will be a no-host bar with all proceeds benefitting the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum.

 

The event will feature a special look back at 50 years of radio controlled unlimited hydroplane racing.

Most importantly, we want to re-connect with all of the great members who have made up this special club.

​

Among the celebrations and food, will be stories and videos featuring a comprehensive look back at the club's history, from Roger Newton's vision and founding in 1974 through a hotly-contested 2023 season.

​

In order to make sure we have enough food and room for everybody, we ask that you pre-register for the Celebration. Please do this by filling out the simple form below. All you need to do is enter your name and hit submit for all members of your party! 

 

If you have more than 4 people attending in your group, please fill out the form multiple times so that all people are tracked. For example, if you have 6 people in your group, please fill out the first 4 people, click submit, then fill out the next 2 people and click submit.

That way, we can ensure there is enough food for everyone, and also make up nametags to help us all with our memory!
