The Ellstrom's family first boat as an owner was thie Miss E-Lam Plus, debuting in 1995. The boat was competed through 2000, then relegated to backup boat duty. It came back for a race in 2006 as the backup boat, and then was repainted for the exhibition Boeing 787 boat. The boat is currently as a display for the Boeing company and is housed at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum.

In 2007, the boat became a unique exhibition. Running under biofuels for the first time in unlimited hydroplane history, the boat was driven by Chip Hanaeur and qualified at Seattle. It did not race.
