Hull #9010
The Miss Emcor originally debuted in 1990, as the "Lobster" Winston Eagle. The unconventional design struggled to be a feasible option for an unlimited hydro, and it was converted into a conventional hydro in the mid-1990s. It raced as the Smokin' Joes in 1996, then was purchased and run by the USA Racing Partners team from 2000-2003. In 2000, it ran as the Appian Jeronimo, but following George Stratton's passing in that boat, it returned in 2001 as the Miss Emcor with Mark Webber driving. Ted Porter purchased the hull in the mid-2000s, and campained it under the Formulaboats.com moniker as a third boat in the team. In 2012 and 2013, Mark Evans ran the boat under various sponsorships, including Fedco. The boat gave former R/CU racer Jesse Robertson his first unlimited ride, as he drove in Seattle and San Diego in 2013. Currently, the boat is up for sale.
During the 2001 season, the boat ran as the Miss Emcor in two races. It finished 4th at Evansville to start the year, then finished 5th at Madison. It ran under other sponsorship for the rest of the year.
