The Ellstrom's family first boat as an owner was thie Miss E-Lam Plus, debuting in 1995. The boat was competed through 2000, then relegated to backup boat duty. It came back for a race in 2006 as the backup boat, and then was repainted for the exhibition Boeing 787 boat. The boat is currently as a display for the Boeing company and is housed at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum.

Mark Evans drove the boat as it competed in five of the seven races in 2000. The season was highlighted by the team's first career win at the Columbia Cup in the Tri-Cities. The boat would finish fifth in national high points.
