Hull #7402

The Miss U.S. debuted along with the Lincoln Thrift as new Jones hulls in 1974, with the U.S. owned by George Simon. Tom D'Eath drove the boat through its short career, as it only campaigned three years.

In 1974, the boat raced in 5 races and had a best finish of 6th in Washington DC and Detroit, finishing 13th in national high points. 1975 brought a full campaign of 10 races, including a win in Detorit en route to a 6th place finish in points. 1976 was the most successful season, racing in 8 of the 9 races, winning in Detroit again and finishing 3rd in national high points.
