Hull #7177

The Country Boy debuted in 1971 with a DNQ in Owensboro, KY. The hull campaigned as the Country Boy for two years, before racing later as the Red Man and for a variety of sponsors through the late 1970s.

In 1971, Dave Walther drove the boat. It attempted to qualify in five races, successfully doing so in Detroit, Seattle, Eugene (OR), and Dallas. It never was recorded in a final, and was last in season points in 1971.
