The first turbine-powered boat for the Muncey race team was built as the Atlas Van Lines for the 1984 season, with veteran Chip Hanauer at the wheel. The team picked up new sponsorship for the 1985 season, and ran through 1987. The boat was converted with a traditional cockpit, and continued to race through the 1990s. It last ran in 1999 for the Jones racing team.
