The Eliminator was part of an idea to bring automotive power back to unlimited hydroplane racing via a smaller designed hull. Raced in 1987 and 1988, the boat had zero success, unsuccessfully qualifying at 5 events in 1987 and 7 events in 1988.


Mickey Franklin and Andy Coker each drove the boat as it struggled to deliver on the promise of the auto engines.
