Fiorito Ponds

 

New for 2025 is a new site in Ellensburg, the Fiorito Ponds. Thanks to Steve Kinney and the rest of the R/CU Board for securing this lake to race at.

The pit area will be at the public access for the north pond, closer to I-82 (US-97). This is on the west side of the lake.

This pond will require a Discover Pass to access for Sunday (on Saturday, the park is open for free due to Smokey Bear's Birthday). They are $30 and need to renewed every year. If you need to purchase one, please visit: https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/.

If you are using a GPS device, a nearby address for the entrance is 6251 Number 6 Rd, Ellensburg, WA.

Driving directions from the westside:

Starting on I-90 eastbound.

Take the I-82 South exit like you’re going to Yakima.

Take the Thrall Rd exit. 

Take a left onto Thrall Rd. 

Take the next left onto number 6 road. 

Then another left into the pond entrance road. 

Drive around the pond on the north end, to the "far" side of the pond (across the pond from Thrall Rd).

Starting on I-82 westbound.

Take the Thrall Rd exit. 

Take a left onto Thrall Rd. 

Take the next left onto number 6 road. 

Then another left into the pond entrance road. 

Then another left into the pond entrance road. 

Drive around the pond on the north end, to the "far" side of the pond (across the pond from Thrall Rd).
