This hull made its debut in 1983 as the Miss Renault, for which it campaigned as for two years. The hull sat dormant for years, until the Rutt Brothers purchased and modernized the hull. Powered by an automove engine, the Edge competed in 1991, for minimal results. 

Todd Yarling drove the boat during the year. The team attempted to qualify for 8 races and made 4 of them. It had a best finish of 8th in Detroit and Madison. The boat carried the associate sponsor of Hunan Harbor in Seattle. The team finished 10th in national high points.
