U-21
Hull #7704
This hull made its debut as the U-4 Charlie's Girl in 1977. Through the late 70's, the boat tried unsuccessfully to compete with an automotive engine. The boat was sold and campaigned by the Evans Brothers in 1980, and picked up sponsorship from KWWW Radio. Eventually, the boat adopted the unique cathedral wing for the 1983 and 1984 seasons, when it last raced.
In 1983, Mitch Evans drove the boat. The team only attempted three races: Tri-Cities, Seattle, and the World Championships in Houston. The boat did not make the final in any race.
