Hull #7402

The Miss U.S. and sister hull Lincoln Thrift were built for the 1974 season as a cabover Jones hull. Driven by Tom D'Eath, the U.S. had a short but successful career. The hull had two victories on its history, including the 1976 Gold Cup in Detroit. The hull was relegated to display duty after the 1976 season and never raced again.

In 1974, the brand-new hull made its debut in Miami and attended five races. It had a best finish of 6th at Washington DC and Detroit, and finished 13th in national high points.
