The U-13 Natural Light started off as the orange-red U-74 Valu Mart in 1974. In 1975, it ran as the U-74 Weisfield's; in 1976, the U-74 Olympia Beer. In 1977, Bernie Little campaigned the Natural Light as a second boat to his team. The boat would later race as the U-31 Miss Circus Circus in 1978 and the U-13 Gilmore Special in 1982. The boat is currently awaiting restoration at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum.

In 1977, Tom Sheehy and Howie Benns piloted the boat. This boat would race in 7 of the 9 races; the #7571 hull would also campaign as the Natural Light at the other 2. It finished 2nd at four races, and would finish 3rd in national high points.
