Hull #6880

The Smirnoff began life in 1968, as one of the first boats with pickleforks. The hull also featured a unique vented deck, and a distinct bat tail. Unfortunately, these features were not the most successful. The boat last raced in 1974 as the Atlas Van Lines.

In 1968, the great Dean Chenoweth got his start behind the wheel of the Smirnoff. The team competed in all 10 races that year, but could only manage a best of 3rd at the Gold Cup in Detroit. The team finished 5th in national high points.
