The latest iteration of the Miss U.S., known as the Miss U.S. 5, made its debut in 1964 and ran for two years before switching names back to the Miss U.S. Driven by Roy Duby and Don Wilson, the hull had minor success, highlighted by a victory in its final season in Tampa, FL.

 

In 1964, the boat entered 5 of the 10 races, adn debuted in Detroit for the Gold Cup. It had a best finish of 6th at Detroit and Washington D.C., and finished 14th in national high points.
