2020-21 offseason updates: new board positions and Tri-Annual/Registration fees

R/CU Welcomes the 2021 Board
The 2021 R/CU Board has been seated. There were four nominations for four open positions. Returning to the Board are Gary Grembowski, Geoff Grembowski and Paxton Reunanen. Joining the Board for 2021 will be Scott Meyers.
Gary will continue as Chairman, Geoff will continue as Registrar, Paxton will continue as Statistician. Continuing Board Members Bill Brandt will be Inspector, Fred Olson will continue as Treasurer and Jim Brittain will be Secretary. New Board Member, Scott, will be Race Coordinator.
The Board would like to acknowledge and thank Mike Malloy for Race Coordination for the past three years. Races have been well organized and R/CU enjoys a great relationship with all of the race sites.
Registration Fees and Tri-Annual Fees Suspended
As with everything else, 2020 has been a strange year for R/CU. We were able to run only one race due to the COVID virus. All of our race sites remained locked down.
As a result, the R/CU has decided to suspend Registration Fees and Tri-Annual fees.
If your boat was registered for competition in 2020, there will be no additional $15 registration fee for 2021.
If you have a boat in development, the June 2020 Tri-Annual development fee was suspended. In addition, the October 2020 and January 2021 Tri-Annual fees will also be suspended.
The next Tri-Annual payment will be due in June 2021, barring a continuation of the COVID virus. In essence, we are treating this as if 2020 never happened.
