All you need to know about the Bernie Little Memorial
The first race of the 2020 Meyers Autotech Championship Series Powered by Rattlesnake RC and Nova Rossi Marine USA is finally here! We appreciate your patience as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is all you need to know about the weekend.
1/8th scale nitro, 1/8th scale electric, gas scale, 1/10th scale electric
The trailer will arrive at 9:00 AM, and per the R/CU safety plan we need to set up the R/CU pit area before you can set up your personal pit area. Open testing will last throughout the rest of the day. If you are a new driver, this is a prime day to get your qualifications in! You cannot qualify as a new driver on the same day as a race. This is also a great opportunity to have R/CU inspector, Bill Brandt, check out your new boats and approve it for competition, as there will be more time for him to do so. We encourage these activities to take place on Saturday.
Testing will occur from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM. At 9:45, there will be a driver's meeting, and racing will begin immediately after and last throughout the day. There will be four classes: 1/8th scale nitro, 1/8th scale electric, gas scale, and 1/10th scale electric (assuming at least 3 boats show up in each). Each class will have 4 preliminary heats, with up to 2 consolation heats as boat count dictates, and winner-take-all finals in all classes. We will need everyone's help to keep the schedule moving, and to help pack up at the end of the day.
Your first boat is $15 to enter, paid on Sunday morning. Each additional entry, regardless of class, is $5. Please pay via exact change or bring a card for Paypal payments.
Please familiarize yourself with the R/CU Safety Plan document on the front page of the website. We need every member to follow this if you want to continue racing in 2020!
This should be all the info you need!
Any questions? Contact us above right! We need everyone to take care to make sure everyone stays safe. We can't wait to see you this weekend to kick off the 2020 season!
