This version of the Miss U.S. made its debut in 1964, and raced as the Miss U.S. 5 for both '64 and 1965. Don Wilson drove the boat in 1964, where it ran in 5 of the 10 races with a debut at Detroit for the Gold Cup. It finished 14th in national high points, with a best finish of 6th at the debut race in Detroit, as well as at the President's Cup in Washington DC.


In 1965, Roy Duby and Bill Muncey shared the cockpit. The team competed in 5 of the 11 races, finsihing 9th in national high points. The best finish was 3rd at the first race of the season in Guntersville, AL.
