The Appian Jeronimo was a Leland hull that first raced in 1992 under a variety of sponsors, including KISW Miss Rock. The team raced this hull as the primary boat for a couple of years, then the boat was run as the de facto second Leland team. For the 1997 season, the boat was purchased by Bob Fendler, and he ran the boat for three years. The boat next made in appearance in 2005 as part of Ted Porter's Formulaboats.com team.
In 1997, Mitch Evans piloted the boat, as it appeared in 9 of the season's 12 races. The team had a best of 2nd at the Gold Cup in Detroit, and finished 7th in national high points.
